The Laundry System gives each kind of wash its own bin: whites and lights, darks, towels and bedding, delicates. The sorting happens as clothes come off, and a full bin is a load that is ready. One load a day keeps the pile from ever forming.

Two pages decode the care label: the washtub, the triangle, the square, the iron and the dry cleaner’s circle, 32 symbols in all. A settings table covers eight kinds of load, and a stain chart gives the first move and the next one for twelve common stains.

What’s inside
  • The four-bin method and five rules for every load
  • 32 care symbols decoded across two pages
  • Settings for eight kinds of load: water, cycle, dry
  • A first-aid chart for 12 common stains
  • A weekly rhythm and a four-week tracker
  • Fillable pages for who does what and a supplies list
  • Washer and dryer care, every load to every year
  • Bin and shelf labels sized for Avery 5163 (US Letter) or L7163 (A4), with blanks to type
Good to know

What if a label shows numbers instead of dots?

Labels made for Europe print the temperature (30, 40, 60) inside the washtub. The number and the dots mean the same limit: the hottest water the garment can take.

Will the bin labels fit my sticker sheets?

On US Letter they are 4 × 2 in and line up with Avery 5163. On A4 they are 99.1 × 38.1 mm and line up with L7163. Or print on card and cut by hand.

Is the stain chart safe for every fabric?

It gives general first steps. Always test on an inside seam first, follow the care label, and take silk, leather and anything labeled “dry clean only” to a cleaner.
